Allen focuses on investments in Internet, wireless and enterprise IT.

Prior to GSR, Allen was the co-founder of eBaoTech, a leading insurance core backend system provider. Allen led the development of the core products, and the business division for North and East Asia, including China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Allen has rich experience in software product development and global expansion.

Allen also worked for McKinsey Greater China, as a senior consultant, and has earned rich consulting and implementation experience in strategy, process re-engineering, cost reduction, and IT system.

Allen holds a M.A. in International Economics from Fudan University and a B.S. in Telecom from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
